S1 Residential Experience - Barcaple - September 2018
Our S1 Residential Trip for our new S1 students is due to take place on the week beginning Monday 10th September 2018 at Abernethy Trust Outdoor Centre in Barcaple, Dumfriesshire. Pupils will attend as follows:
Pupils will attend for two nights, over the week beginning 10th September 2018.
- Pupils in classes 1L, 1R1 and 1R1 (Lomond & Rannoch Houses) will attend Monday 10th to Wednesday 12th
- Pupils in classes 1K, 1T1 and 1T2 (Katrine & Torridon Houses) will attend Wednesday 12th to Friday 14th
The total cost for the trip will be £145 per pupil, this includes accommodation, meals and all equipment needed for the activities. More information about specific activities will be given out in due course. Funding is available to those who are in receipt of free school meals.
On Wednesday 15th August 2018 all students in new S1 will be given a pack of information to take home to parents/carers regarding the S1 Residential Experience. The pack will contain:
* Parental letter regarding the S1 Residential Trip
* Parental consent form
* Parental consent form (for swimming activities)
Please return the tear-off slip at the bottom of the letter to Mrs Forrester or Miss Burns who will be visiting tutor classes, with a payment no later than Thursday 23rd August 2018. Please put cash or a cheque in an envelope with the pupils name and class clearly marked.
