Christmas Appeal for Whiteinch Food Bank
The Junior Pupil Council are busy working on a Christmas Appeal for Whiteinch Food Bank.
The Whiteinch Foodbank is an initiative which aims to reach those most in need in the local community and surrounding areas. The Foodbank runs every Sunday from 1-3pm. They distribute emergency food parcels to those in need of this kind of support. They also offer various types of support depending on individual circumstances. The Foodbank is a drop-in service and individuals are welcome to stay for a hot drink as well as selecting items for their food parcel from the food store.
Each year we run this appeal and Christmas and in the past have collected car loads full of supplies for the Foodbank. We are particularly proud of this local charity as it helps to support families who reside within our school community.
Donations can be brought in any day between now and 19th December - any donations are welcome. A suggested list is detailed below. Donations can either be brought to the DHT office or can be taken to PST classes.
