SQA Exam Success Evening - Thursday 27th Sept 6pm
On Thursday 27th September our annual SQA Exam Success Evening will take place - this is open to parents/carers of students in S4, S5 and S6 who will be sitting SQA examinations this session. The aim of the evening is to provide parents with important information regarding SQA exam procedures but also to give them advice and strategies on how they can help to support their young people at home as they prepare to sit SQA exams.
A number of workshops will run on the evening and we will also have input from our school Educational Psychologist to deliver a session on how parents can cope with the stress that their children may face as they prepare and sit their exams. The workshops will also provide parents with information on the study skills strategies which are currently being delivered during Core Study Skills time with our current S4 students.
We look forward to welcoming as many parents/carers along to this evening as possible. The evening will start in the Airlie Theatre at 6pm.
