Hyndland Secondary School

On 20th and 21st May, senior phase families will have recieved an updated tracking report via email. 

We would like to reassure both our S5/6 learners and their families that the updated working grade on this report is NOT the final estimate grade that will be submitted to the SQA.  The grades are not an estimate nor a prediction – they are a record of progress thus far and are only reflective of work undertaken up to 11^th May (i.e. before the final assessment diet).  The provisional grades which will be sent to the SQA will not be derived until towards the end of May and into early June.  This means that our learners still have time to work towards improving any grades if required.

Further communication will follow in June regarding your young person’s provisional grades which will be submitted to the SQA. 

In the meantime, can I please thank you for your support and would like to wish all our learners the very best of luck with their final assessment diet which will run from 12^th May up to and including 7^th June.
