In Hyndland Secondary, we know that friendship that lasts a lifetime are born on the football field, during rehersal for choir, camping out on Duke of Edinburgh or in school clubs. Taking part in extra curricular activities will help young people develop confidence and commitment in addition to skills and ambition.
Participation in clubs, activities and outings can play a major part in personal and social development, improve health and well being and in return improve achievement.
We wish to encourage as many young people as possible to take part in the life of the school in this way and, where possible, make their own contribution to the running of these activities.

New update for Wider Achievement!
The "Big Questions" group has re-started this year. Run by the Wheel Trust and SU Scotland.
Pupils of any faith, and none, are welcome to join on a Tuesday at lunch time in L027 for games, snacks and chat. The group is aimed to facilitate discussion of questions that pupils have around Christianity, God and the Bible.
