IDL Week 2019 will take place between Monday 13th May and Friday 17th May. During this week all S1 pupils will undertake a week of learning which focuses on the completion of the John Muir Award - Discovery level. If students successfully complete the week of activities they will be awarded with the John Muir Certificate and wider achievement Award. More information will be posted soon regarding arrangements for the week with examples of what a week for an S1 learner will look like. The S1 Parental Letter for last session can be viewed here.
S2 and S3 students will be involved in a range of activities during IDL week. This will involve a UK based trip to London, a trip to Blairvadach Outdoor Education Centre as well as participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. For those not involved in these activities, a week of planned learning will take place which will involve students working both in the school and out of campus on a range of activities. More information will be posted shortly about this week for S2 and S3 students.
