Pupil iPads - Important Information
Dear families,
We thought it may be helpful to provide an iPad Guide for young people and families which details the expectations surrounding the use of iPads. We have also posted this key information on the year group Teams so that young people are aware of this important information. We will also post this onto the school website.
There is also key information in this booklet about what students must do if they misplace or damage their iPad. There is also an update for families of those who are awaiting a replacement device due to theirs being damaged or lost.
Can we please ask families to ensure that young people bring their iPad into school everyday charged and ready to use as per the new iPad rules detailed in the booklet. Staff are working very hard to incorporate digital learning into lessons but this can be challenging to deliver when young people do not bring their device to school.
From Monday 23rd January, we will be asking staff to enter a demerit on the register if a young person does not have their iPad with them - this will result in a text being sent home to families each day so that parents are aware when their young person does not bring their iPad to school. Your support with this is very much appreciated.
