S1 Settling in Interviews with Pastoral Care Staff
During the week beginning Monday 8th October, all students in S1 will be interviewed on a one-to-one basis with their Pastoral Care Teacher. The purpose of the interview is to discuss how they feel they have settled into high school and are becoming part of the community of Hyndland Secondary School. Staff have recently undertaken an early alert exercise and have highlighted any concerns they may have to pastoral care which will then be explored further during the settling in interviews. Involvement in extra-curricular activities at Hyndland will be discussed as well as how students are coping with both class work and homework.
