Christmas at Hyndland

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the parents, carers, staff and students for their support this year - we have had another great year at Hyndland and very much look forward to starting off another exciting and successful year in 2018.

Over the past month many of our students have been involved in fantastic events proving themselves to be outstanding ambassadors of our school.  This has included; spectacular music events including our school Concert, Carols by Candlelight and also the choir performance in Glasgow City Cathedral last Saturday - we are truly grateful to our Music Department including the team of instructors for organising and leading these fantastic events.  Our Pupil Council has been working extremely hard to raise money and donations for Whiteinch Food Bank - a charity which is based within our school community and lies very close to our heart.  A number of students have attended curricular trips to Christmas lectures in local universities and colleges helping to enhance the learning taking place in the classroom.  Other Christmas events have included our highly successful S1 and S2 trips to the pantomimes - thanks to the English Department for all of their work in organising these.    A number of dances have also taken place and we thank the PE Department for their help with the junior school dance and staff from across the school who agreed the senior dance.

Thanks again to all involved in the events and congratulations once again to all of our students for their fantastic partiicpation in the events above.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of our friends, parents and wider school community.
