S2 and S3 Summer Trip - Blackpool
Dear S2 and S3 families
S2 and S3 Summer Reward Trip – Blackpool Pleasure Beach – Monday 24th June 2024
As per previous years, we plan to run a reward trip for our students in S1 to S3 during the last week of the summer term to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Our plan is to prioritise S2 and S3 to begin with due to the limited number of spaces available. If we have more capacity following this, we will open up the trip to S1 students.
We have managed to secure around 300 spaces so far for this trip and do expect it to be popular with our young people. Due to difficulty in securing buses following the pandemic, we will need to offer places for the trip on a first come first served basis.
The total cost of the trip will be £47.50 per person. For those registered for Free School Meals, the cost will be £27.50. The trip is being subsidised for all young people, however due to increased transport costs, we are unable to reduce the cost any further.
Reservations for the trip will open on Monday 11th March at 5.00pm via ParentPay. If you do not have access to ParentPay, please speak to the school office in advance of this date so that you can access the website if your young person is interested in attending the trip.
To secure a place on the trip the consent form should be completed and a £20.00 deposit should be paid via ParentPay. The payment schedule for the remainder of the trip is shown below:
Monday 11th March £20.00 Deposit to secure
By Tuesday 30th March £10.00 instalment to be paid (FME students do not pay this instalment)
By Friday 31st May £17.50 instalment to be paid (FME students will pay final £7.50 balance)
We would also like to remind young people and families that attendance on the trip will be dependent upon behaviour and conduct in school too.
