 Animation

Stopframe animation is a very simple method of animation. You take a series of pictures where the story has moved on very slightly each time and when they are played quicky it looks like they are moving.

This is the same method used for Wallace and Gromit among many other animated movies and TV shows.

Step 1

In groups you will be given a box of materials that you will have to use to create an animated story. Along with the materials for props and characters you will be given a camera and a tripod to set up your own stopframe animation.

Step 2

Once the pictures have been taken, you will have to rename the images in the order they should appear on the animation (1,2,3,4 etc)

Step 3

You will use Windows Movie Maker to collect all the images together and save it as a video file.
