This is the page for the LGBT+ Charter Group. We are the group that is helping the school work towards getting the LGBT Charter Bronze status. We are open to anyone, whether you are LGBT+ or Ally. We are comprised of both pupils and teachers. This session, we are meeting up every Thursday lunchtime in L210. If you are even a little curious and want to find out more, feel free to come along and say hello. Whether you come every week or just once or twice, there is always room.
What do we do?
We organise events to raise money for LGBT+ charities, provide a safe place for LGBT+ students to meet other people like them, create and deliver presentations to the school to help raise awareness of the struggles of LGBT+ community and much more. We hope to provide a safe environment for LGBT+ students throughout the school. It may be small at first but we know that even the smallest actions of support can make a massive difference to someone's life.
