This year, all Higher biology students were given the opportunity to attend a PCR Workshop at Glasgow University on Thursday 31st August. The workshop offers pupils a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in PCR techniques and applications through lectures and laboratory work as part of their first Higher unit on DNA and the Genome.
