Global trade
In global trade you will look at how products we use here are often made by people who are working in conditions that would be illegal in the UK. They get paid very little, have no bathroom breaks, no holidays and no right to complain!
Unfair Factory
In the unfair factory you will get a taste of what happens in one of the sweatshops, you have to keep up with your targets, avoid unnecessary breaks and make sure you dont complain, even when your too tired to work!
When you are doing a shift in the factory, consider what you would expect with a job here in the UK and how is it different in the game.

Supply Chain
Supply chains are the people involved in creating and selling products.
From the designers through the manufacturers down to you, the customers who buy these products everyone is involved and connected in this way.
Lets have a look at who gets what in the supply chain.
If a t-shirt costs £29.99 for the customer, how is that shared amongst the people involved in making and selling the t-shirt.

What can be done?
In the game, when you complain to the manager or go to your trade union, the management tend to refuse (and thats putting it lightly!) so if the workers are not able to speak up, its up to you!
With a group, you should prepare a campaign to...
- Make people aware of this problem
- Put pressure on companies to remove unfairness in their workforce
Your campaign can involve leaflets, posters, websites - anything you think is appropriate for the cause.
